Who I Work With

I support individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and are looking for a space to better understand themselves and find relief. I often work with clients navigating:

  • Trauma

  • Anxiety, chronic stress, and overwhelm

  • Depression and mood concerns

  • Behavioral addictions

  • Life transitions

  • Post-partum support

My work is grounded in meeting each client with care, curiosity, and respect for their unique experiences and perspectives.

My Approach to Therapy

I offer trauma-informed therapy that is tailored to each client's unique needs and stage of healing. I draw from a variety of evidence-based and body-centered approaches, including mindfulness, somatic (body-centered) awareness, Internal Family Systems (IFS or parts work), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and EMDR therapy.

When working with trauma, I follow the three-phase trauma treatment model. We begin by establishing safety and stabilization, then move into reprocessing past experiences, and finally focus on integrating healing into daily life. This phased approach helps ensure that trauma work is done at a pace that feels supportive and manageable.

Through somatic therapy, we increase awareness of how the body responds to stress and emotions. This awareness helps the nervous system become more regulated in the present moment. As part of this foundation, CBT skills—such as noticing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors—may be incorporated alongside the development of a strong therapeutic relationship.

Once a sense of stability is established, we can safely engage in deeper trauma processing using approaches like EMDR and IFS. I may also incorporate creative modalities, such as art or sand tray work, as therapeutic tools. While I am not a licensed art therapist, I use creative expression thoughtfully to support insight, processing, and healing.

Online Therapy for Maryland Residents

Telehealth therapy sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform to ensure your privacy and confidentiality. I use SimplePractice, and you will receive a secure session link prior to each appointment.

Online counseling allows you to access trauma therapy, EMDR, anxiety treatment, and nervous system support from the comfort of your own space. All you need is a private location, reliable internet connection, and a device with video capability.

Many clients find telehealth to be both convenient and deeply effective.
